turkey pepper poppers

I am on an appetizer craze lately…this low sodium app looks delicious!


  • Baby peppers (of the bell or jalapeno variety)
  • Ground meat (turkey, pork, beef, or chicken)
  • Fresh herbs and spices (fennel, cumin, paprika or onione powder)
  • One egg
  • Breadcrumbs (ex: Matzo Meal)

In a small bowl, use your hands to mix together the ground meat, spices, egg, and some breadcrumbs. Clean the peppers and cut their tops off. Stuff with meat mixture. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
